I Tried These Spring Fragrances and Now I Can’t Stop Using Them

Spring Fragrances

When the weather starts to warm up each year, I remember how heavy my usual perfumes feel. The ones I loved all winter now feel like too much, especially during the day. This time, I wanted something lighter that I could wear without thinking too hard, whether I was going out quickly or just sitting at my desk.

In the end, I tried a lot more scents than I had planned to. Some of them I liked right away, some took a few tries, and some just didn't work for me at all. But the ones below are the ones I kept going back to without trying.

1. Glossier You Fleur

This one surprised me. I wore it on a random weekday when I didn’t feel like putting much effort into anything, and it just blended into my skin in a really soft way. It smells slightly floral but not in an obvious way, more like clean skin with something warm underneath.

It doesn’t hit you immediately. It stays close, which I actually liked because it didn’t feel loud. I noticed it more when I moved around or when my hair brushed against my face. It lasted a decent amount of time, but not all day. I ended up reapplying once, which wasn’t a big deal.

2. Diptyque Orphéon (EDT)

I was interested in this lighter version because I've tried the original one before. I wore this a few times in the evening, when I didn't want something too sweet.

It starts off a little sharp with citrus and something spicy, but then it gets smoother. It looks a little fancy, but you can still wear it. I was surprised that I got several compliments on this one because it's not a typical "easy" scent.

The longevity was unexpectedly better. It stayed almost fresh on my clothes even the next day.

3. Nette Lemon Puff

This is not at all like what I usually wear. I tried it on a day when I wanted something comforting, and it reminded me of desserts right away, but not in a childish way.

It's soft, a little creamy, and a little sweet, but it's still fresh enough for spring. I wore it a few times during the day, and every time I caught a whiff of it, it felt good. Not overwhelming, just... cozy.

It doesn't smell very strong, which might be a bad thing if you like stronger scents, but I liked how close it stayed.

4. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Kurky

This one seemed fun right away. I wore it on a casual day out, and it was definitely a little sweet, like candy but not too much.

It has a soft, musky base that keeps it from feeling too young. I didn't think I would like it that much, but it quickly grew on me. It smells like something that makes you feel a little lighter, if that makes sense.

It stayed on my skin for a long time, but it didn't project very well. People who were close to me noticed it, but it wasn't very loud.

5. Dossier Floral Lavender

I gave this a try because it was cheaper, and to be honest, it worked pretty well. I wore it to work every day, and it was easy to wear.

The lavender is easily noticeable but not too strong. . There’s a slight sweetness that balances it out. It was clean and simple, so I could easily grab it when I didn't want to think too much.

It didn't last as long as some of the others, but I didn't mind putting it on again for the price.

6. Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Florabloom

$185

This one feels very “spring” in the obvious way. I wore it during the daytime, especially when I was outside more, and it just worked.

It smells floral, but not heavy. There’s something slightly fruity in there too, which makes it feel brighter. It’s the kind of scent that feels fresh right away.

It doesn’t last as long as I’d like. After a few hours, it fades, but while it’s there, it’s really nice.

7. Miu Miu Fleur de Lait

I didn’t expect to fall in love with it as much as I did. I wore it on a warmer day, and it immediately felt tropical without being too obvious.

There’s a soft milkiness to it, mixed with something fruity. It feels warm but still light enough for spring. I kept reaching for it on days when I wanted something a bit different.

It lasts a decent amount of time, and the dry down is actually my favorite part.

8. Salt & Stone Neroli & Basil

This one feels clean in a very fresh way. I wore it after a shower once, and it just made sense.

It has that citrus brightness, but there’s also something slightly green and earthy. It doesn’t feel overly floral, which I liked. It’s more on the crisp side.

It doesn’t last as long as a full perfume, since it’s a mist, but it’s easy to reapply, and I didn’t mind that.

9. DedCool Mineral Milk

$90

This one is very subtle. I wasn’t sure about it at first because it doesn’t have that strong “perfume” smell.

I wore it at home and on casual days, and it kind of blends into your skin. It’s slightly warm, slightly creamy, but very soft overall.

It’s not the one I reach for when I want compliments, but it’s the one I reach for when I want something comfortable.

10. Dolce & Gabbana My Devotion Intense

Dolce and Gabbana My Devotion Intense
DG
My Devotion Eau de Parfum Intense
$143

This one is a bit richer than the others, so I wore it more in the evening. It has a slightly sweet, slightly floral feel that leans warmer.

It feels a bit more dressed up, but still wearable for spring if you don’t go too heavy on it. I liked it for dinners or going out.

It lasts longer than most on this list, which is a plus, but it can feel a bit strong if you overapply.

Final Thoughts

I didn’t expect to keep rotating between this many, but each one kind of fits a different mood. I just ended up wearing whatever felt right that day without overthinking it too much.
