Dakota Johnson’s Sheer Moment at Vogue World Left Us Speechless

Last night felt straight out of a movie, especially for Dakota Johnson at Vogue World 2025—Hollywood. Sitting front row while Kendall Jenner, Alex Consani, and others ruled the runway, Johnson easily stole attention in a freshly debuted Valentino look that shimmered under the lights.

The star-studded event took over Paramount Studios on October 26, with Baz Luhrmann calling “action” and transforming the venue into a live movie set filled with Hollywood icons. Naturally, Johnson wasn’t going to miss that scene.

With help from stylist Kate Young, Johnson stepped back into the Valentino spotlight for the first time since 2019—marking her return as a brand ambassador. She wore Look 40 from Alessandro Michele’s Spring 2026 collection, a sleeveless column gown covered in intricate 1920s-style beadwork in shades of pink, silver, blue, and green. The semi-sheer tulle halter neckline and pale pink skirt added softness, while the embroidered triangles on the bodice gave it structure. With a high neckline doing most of the talking, she kept accessories simple: diamond drops, silver bangles, and a sleek black clutch.

Seated beside Jennifer Connelly and Kim Taehyung, Johnson finally revealed her matching Valentino peep-toe mules. The pastel mesh with a silver snake motif tied perfectly to her gown and gave a subtle nod to the naked shoe trend that’s still going strong—favorites of Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, and Rihanna alike.

The same gown first appeared on the runway earlier this month, styled with PVC pumps and velvet detailing. Johnson, however, swapped those for stilettos from Look 49, previously paired with a sheer black mini dress—a choice that added her own edge.
